Friendly Valley Country Club is a private, residential, guard gated, 55 and over community with amenities well suited for the active senior. Located in the Santa Clarita Valley, it is conveniently positioned near both the Golden Valley and Via Princessa on and off ramps of the Antelope Valley Freeway (CA 14). It is in close proximity to the heart of the San Fernando Valley and in commuting distance of downtown Los Angeles.
Ground was broken in the early 1960s and this community now stands peacefully nestled on 200 enchanting acres surrounded by majestic and protected Heritage Oak trees.
Friendly Valley Village is a SMOKE FREE CAMPUS and neither smoking nor vaping are allowed anywhere in our common areas.
Amenities include a deluxe auditorium that seats near 600 patrons for events and a wall length, rustic fieldstone fireside lounge adjacent to its library. A multipurpose building houses the Business Offices, Security Office and Fitness Center as well as separate rooms for Billiards and Darts, a Ceramics Studio, Conferences, Poker Room and Woodworking Shop. The Annex room is a facility complete with a kitchen, tables, chairs, sound system, Audio Visual equipment and a piano is available for small parties up to 100 people.
The sun sparkles on the warm hot tub/spa and larger-than-Olympic size, heated swimming pool. Men’s and Women’s shower and locker rooms are conveniently located adjacent to the area. A picturesque 9-hole Executive Golf Course and lounge, an 18 hole Pitch and Putt course, Lawn Bowls greens, Shuffleboard courts, Horseshoe Pits, basketball court, and BBQ picnic areas are available for year round use.
Individual HOA fees include Cable TV and internet, trash and recycle pickup and the use of all facilities and amenities. Entertainment is provided by more than 25 social clubs and performances by the Little Theater Group. The community is tailored to both the resident wishing to participate in group activities and is also attractive to those who simply desire to live in the peace and quiet that the natural ambiance and the tranquility of the environment of Friendly Valley affords to everyone.
