Friendly Valley Ceramics Studio is a great place to expand your creativity!  We have workshops on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 to 11:30 and Thursday nights from 6:00 to 8:00 pm for orientation and instruction. Once you become a member and have learned the basics you can visit Security for access to the studio at your leisure and be limited only by your imagination.

Our well-equipped studio has hundreds of molds for slip casting – everything from statuary to utilitarian bowls, pots, cups.  Once an item is poured, dried and cleaned as greenware, we fire it in one of our kilns and it becomes a much stronger bisque piece.  The bisque can then be painted with acrylic paint if it is for decoration only, or glazed and fired again if it is to be used for food or handled frequently.

Don’t feel like pouring molds?  We also have clay available for hand building items using rolling, coiling, or pinching methods.  We are not experts but have learned techniques we are happy to share. We also have a number of pre-poured items from "In The Kiln", a pottery studio in San Dimas.  "In The Kiln" provides them to us on consignment, so they are available for sale.  Of course, nothing beats a visit to "In The Kiln", where they have literally thousands of things from which to choose.
