I hope this email finds you all in good health. The Rec Board has some very important announcements regarding actions being taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In addition to the signs that will be posted, please notify your residents of the following:
Beginning this evening (3/16/20) at 5:00pm, the Business Office, Security Office, and all of the Recreational Facilities will be restricted to the community.
Business Office will still process tasks related to Escrow and Vendor Checks/Contracts. No walk-ins.
As a reminder, the following is how checks will be processed:
Invoices must be approved on Tuesdays
Checks will be cut on Wednesdays
Checks must be signed on Thursdays
Please call ahead to let us know you are coming to the Office.
We ask that everyone try to conduct as much business as possible via email and phone calls. We are trying to limit face-to-face interactions.
HOA Dues payments may be submitted to the red “Association Dues” box in the Rotunda or the slot on the door between the Business and Security Offices.
Security Office will not be open to the community but will process the following items:
Parking Permits
Call the Security Office with vehicle information and a Parking Permit will be delivered to you.
Guest List additions
Call the Security Office and they will add guests to your Temporary Guest List (30 days)
Recreational Facilities include: all Hobby Rooms, all restrooms, Fitness Center, Pool & Locker Rooms, Golf Lounge, Lawn Bowls, and the Auditorium building (including Library & Card Rooms).
Jeanne will call and notify all residents, clubs, classes, and groups to let them know that the Recreational Facilities are CLOSED and that all events are CANCELLED.
The above-mentioned changes will be effective 3/16/20 at 5:00pm through the next fourteen (14) days. The Rec will reassess at that time and will notify the Boards of any changes. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.
Take care,

Dear Ruth, I have completed my project at Friendly Valley Village and I wanted to thank you for allowing me to place my big and final project in your community. Thank you for advising me and becoming a friend to me. I am honored to be a part of your community and to be able contribute a beautiful rock garden and bench along with knowledge that I was able to share to your community on the importance of saving water.
The council is sending you my report for you to review. I hope you like it. I am so proud of it! I am really looking forward to completing the final steps with approvals in earning my Gold Award.
I made a video of my project on you tube! I hope you can check it out! Thank you again. Sincerely, Lyza Polanco
The Business Office is closed from 12:00pm – 1:00pm daily.
