Do NOT enter the Pool or Spa while they are being cleaned or serviced.
Residents must keep their badge visible at all times while in the Pool area. Badges may be displayed on a towel, tote bag, or clothing. Under no circumstances shall a resident loan their badge to anyone to use these facilities.
The Pool and Spa are for residents and their guests only. A resident must accompany their guest(s) at all times, regardless of age, and is responsible for guest’s conduct and safety. Each household is allowed up to six (6) guests at any given time. The record unit owner is ultimately responsible for the conduct of their residents and the residents’ guests.
Everyone must shower immediately before entering the pool and spa and must dress appropriately in swimsuits. Street clothes shall not be allowed at any time. For those persons who must protect their skin from the sun, a plain T-shirt is acceptable. Suntan lotions or oils are not permitted on swimmers. Sunscreen products are allowed, but please opt for products that are degradable and safe for use in a community pool.
Lockers in the Shower Room are available for use only while using the pool and spa. Items are not to be left in lockers overnight without prior authorization.
Diapers of any kind, including brands implied to be Waterproof Swim Underpants, are NOT allowed in the Pool or Spa. This applies to children and adults.
Please be aware that organized groups and classes frequently congregate in the Pool during peak season. Please respect their purpose and share the waters appropriately. The Business Office can verify the times and days of these activities upon request.
Tables, chairs, umbrellas, lounges, and pergolas may not be reserved.
Floats exceeding 20”, diving equipment, and/or rafts or balls are not allowed in the Pool.
Assistance “kick” boards not exceeding 20” in length and noodles considered to be exercise and therapy aids are the only approved floatation devices. Masks or goggles, rubber flippers or fins, and Aquatic Shoes are permitted to assist swimmers with exercise.
Running, jumping, and diving are strictly prohibited in the Pool and Spa.
Anyone deliberately making a nuisance of themselves while using these facilities will be asked to leave immediately by Security.
Persons wearing wet bathing suits are NOT permitted in the Business or Security Offices or any of the Recreational rooms.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES:
Eating or drinking, with the exception of plastic or unbreakable water bottles, within the fenced Pool area is prohibited. Tables and chairs outside of the fenced Pool area and on the upper deck, as well as the adjacent BBQ Picnic Area (if not previously reserved) are available for eating. Check with the Business Office or Security for availability.
CHILDREN:
Children (persons under the age of 18) are only permitted in the Pool Area during the designated Family Hours, as listed above.
There are NO Lifeguards on duty at any time! Children’s safety is the sole responsibility of the adult resident accompanying them to the Pool.
Children under the age of four (4), or in diapers (including “Huggies Little Swimmers” or similar product) shall NOT be allowed the use of the Pool under any circumstances.
Many residents use the shallow end for therapeutic exercises. Some of our residents are fragile, slow, and unsteady. Children should respect their space and pace and avoid erratic behavior.
It is recommended that children who cannot swim the width of the pool and back unassisted should NOT be allowed in the deep end. The deep end is mostly used for lap swimming. Children swimming at the deep end shall NOT dive, splash, or otherwise interfere with the residents’ swim pattern.
The Spa is for adults 18 years of age and older ONLY. Adult guests may use the Spa only in the presence of their host.
NOTE: THERE ARE NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY AT ANY TIME! Please become familiar with the location of the life preservers and safety poles. Use of this safety equipment is for EMERGENCIES ONLY.
